Highland Cabinetry came back to us after the success of their factory video to produce a cinematic corporate video covering their USA logistics operations in Phoenix, Arizona. We developed the full creative concept, assembled a local production crew in Phoenix that included an FPV drone pilot and a Mavic 4 pilot, organized rented semi trucks and planned driving routes for on-camera logistics sequences, and secured film permits for every location.

This was the second production in a partnership that started on the factory floor in Vietnam and moved to the distribution hub in Phoenix. Our production company sourced the crew, handled the permits, planned the truck logistics, and delivered the finished film. Highland trusted us to run it because the first project proved we could.

Description

Highland Cabinetry is one of the largest wholesale kitchen and bathroom cabinet suppliers in the United States. They manufacture over 25,000 kitchens a month, stock more than 20,000 at their Phoenix headquarters, and ship nationwide. The product line runs on all-wood construction with dovetail drawers, L-bracket reinforcement for stone countertops, and soft-close hardware. The company serves dealers, contractors, builders, and homeowners across Arizona, California, Texas, and New Mexico.

Their Vietnam factory video showed how the cabinets are built. This project was about what happens after the container lands in Phoenix. The challenge was making the logistics side look as good as the manufacturing film. Warehouse footage and trucks on a highway turn generic the moment the creative goes on autopilot. Highland’s team had seen enough corporate videos like that. They wanted the same caliber of production they got from the factory shoot, this time pointed at the American distribution operation.

We built the creative concept around movement. FPV drones flew through the warehouse at speed, close to the racking and the forklifts, capturing angles a handheld camera or a tripod could never reach. A DJI Mavic 4 handled the aerial work over the Phoenix facility and along the distribution routes. We rented semi trucks and choreographed driving sequences so they could be filmed running real logistics corridors on camera. The crew was local to Phoenix, sourced and managed by our production company for this shoot specifically.

Highland Cabinetry first hired us to shoot their factory in Ho Chi Minh City. They came back because that film gave their sales team something they did not have before, a way to show buyers how the cabinets are actually made without flying them to Vietnam. This cinematic corporate video does the same thing for the US logistics side. Now Highland can walk a dealer through the full operation, from the factory floor to the trucks leaving Phoenix, without the dealer ever boarding a plane.
