Documentary in Thai Binh for The Story of Bop
Personal Resilience Within a Forgotten Community in Thai Binh
Services Provided
A passion project by the founders of EM Productions, this intimate documentary explores the life of Bop, a long-term resident of the Van Mon Leprosy Village in Thai Binh, Vietnam. Moving through decades of social isolation, wartime survival, and extreme scarcity, the film is a quiet, powerful meditation on the endurance of the human spirit. By documenting Bop’s daily reality and his unwavering faith in the face of immense hardship, we sought to give a voice to a community often left in the shadows. This work reflects our core belief in film as a medium for empathy, bridging the gap between historical tragedy and the quiet dignity of a life lived with hope.
