WHERE WE PHOTOGRAPH LIVE

What types of photography does EM Productions offer?

We specialize in seven areas of professional photography: corporate photography, portrait and executive photography, corporate lifestyle photography, hotel and resort photography, architecture photography, infrastructure photography, and factory and industrial photography.

Each discipline has its own page with galleries and detailed information. Our work spans boardrooms and office environments to active manufacturing floors, luxury resorts, and large-scale infrastructure sites. Every shoot is directed with purpose, whether the final images are for marketing, investor relations, annual reports, recruitment, or global communications.

Where does EM Productions shoot photography?

We have established photography teams in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Singapore, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, Phnom Penh, and across Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City is home base, but we run shoots across all of these locations regularly.

Our clients include global brands like Google, Microsoft, Samsung, ABB, and Buhler who need consistent visual quality across multiple countries. Having permanent teams in each city means we know the locations, the light, and the logistics before your project begins.

How does a photography project work with EM Productions?

Every project starts with a conversation. You tell us what you need, where you need it, and what the images are for. We then develop a creative brief, shot list, and production plan tailored to your objectives.

On shoot day, our team handles everything: art direction, lighting, location management, styling coordination, and talent direction if needed. After the shoot, we deliver retouched, graded images in the formats and resolutions your team requires.

From first conversation to final delivery, most corporate photography projects take two to four weeks depending on scope and location. Multi-city shoots require more lead time for logistics and crew coordination.

How much does professional photography cost in Asia?

Every project is different. The cost of a professional photography project depends on the scope of work, number of locations, travel requirements, team size, and post-production needs. A single-day corporate shoot in one city is a very different investment than a multi-country campaign spanning five locations over two weeks.

We put together a detailed proposal for every project based on your specific requirements. Contact us at info@em-production.com or use our contact form and we will scope it out together.

Can EM Productions shoot in multiple countries on one project?

Yes. Multi-country photography projects are a core part of what we do. Having established teams across Vietnam, Singapore, China, South Korea, Japan, and Cambodia means we coordinate crews, equipment, and logistics across borders without relying on third parties.

Clients like Buhler, Yara, and ABB have commissioned us for photography spanning multiple countries on a single project, with consistent creative direction and visual quality across every location. One point of contact, one creative vision, delivered across the region.

Do I need a permit for a photography shoot?

It depends on the location, the type of shoot, and the country. Permit requirements vary significantly across our operating regions. A small crew photographing inside a corporate office is very different from a team shooting at a public landmark or government building.

In most cases, commercial photography on private property does not require a permit. Public spaces, heritage sites, and certain commercial districts often do. Some countries require permits for any professional camera equipment visible in public.

Every project is different. Contact us and we will tell you exactly what applies to your shoot. We manage permit applications across all of our locations. Reach out at info@em-production.com or use our contact form.

What photography equipment does EM Productions use?

We shoot with professional full-frame and medium-format camera systems depending on the requirements of the project. Our standard kit covers everything from wide architectural work to tight portrait lenses, with professional lighting for both studio and on-location environments.

For specialized work like aerial photography, we coordinate drone operators with licensed permits in each country. For large-scale factory or infrastructure shoots, we bring extended grip and rigging equipment.

We select gear based on the deliverables, not the other way around. If your project has specific technical requirements, we will match the equipment to the brief.

How are final images delivered?

All images are professionally retouched and color-graded before delivery. We deliver high-resolution files in the formats your team needs, typically JPEG and TIFF, with web-optimized versions available on request.

Delivery is via secure cloud transfer. Turnaround depends on the volume of images and level of retouching, but most projects are delivered within one to two weeks after the shoot. Rush delivery is available when timelines are tight.

Usage rights and licensing terms are discussed upfront and included in every proposal.

What industries does EM Productions photograph?

Our corporate and industrial photography spans a wide range of sectors including technology, manufacturing, hospitality, finance, energy, infrastructure, consumer goods, and education. Clients include multinational corporations, regional brands, international schools, and global agencies.

We have photographed semiconductor factories, five-star resorts, corporate headquarters, agricultural operations, textile facilities, and everything in between. The common thread is that every client needs photography that communicates something specific about their business to an external audience.

How do I start a photography project with EM Productions?
