Burkhard, Buhler’s global head of communications, contacted us about another rice milling project after the success of the Phung Hoang Rice film in Vietnam. This time the project was in a remote area of Thailand, so we flew out to research the production, understand the client’s story, and find out how the collaboration between Buhler and the mill had worked in practice.
Buhler does not want to be positioned as a product supplier. They are a solution provider, and that distinction matters in how we write scripts and compose stories for them. We focus on the relationship, the problem solving, and how both teams listened to each other to make the project work. In Asia, that approach to business relationships can make or break a deal.

Description
This was the second rice milling testimonial video we produced for Buhler, following the Phung Hoang Rice project in Vietnam that had already proven its value at trade shows across Southeast Asia. Burkhard came back because the first film delivered results and he trusted us to handle another project in a different country with the same level of research and care.
Buhler screened this film at their innovation lab in Switzerland during their largest annual event, where customers and partners from around the world come to see Buhler’s latest implementations. The CEO personally complimented Burkhard on the creative work. A Bangkok testimonial video production made in a remote part of Thailand, reaching that audience in Switzerland, is proof that the story was told the right way.
